This is my second time visiting this place. I absolutely love it! Great food, soul theme and worth it every time! My eyes got big coming in. Only posting pictures of the fondue. The other plates didn't make it.

I absolutely love this place! The crab is so juicy and good. There is a large variety of different foods--but I just go for the crab. I called today. .... no more ayce!

I was staying at the Ameristar Hotel for a two week period and frequented the Heritage buffet frequently, seeing as though it's one of the better restaurants in the casino. I came both during the week and weekends, breakfast and dinner. Unlike with other reviews, we never experienced any kind of line (but we might just have good luck). My boyfriend is vegetarian and aside from the Friday Seafood Buffet, he had pretty good luck..especially with the Chinese food station. I, on the other hand, had a hard time finding something I really loved. While they did have a good amount of choices, I only could find one option I really actually enjoyed most nights. Highlights: The root beer float station was a very cute and original idea. For desserts they had fondue and a ton of choices from fruit to different types of cakes and pie, which we really liked. Avoid: Basically all of the egg options at the brunch, they were a miss most of the time and were almost never warm and the ribs during dinner service were practically bone.

It's no Vegas buffet but it's definitely one of the best you'll get in the Midwest. There is a huge selection of everything, including some amazing desserts. Everything is hot and fresh. The servers are very polite and friendly. The people busing tables are quick to remove plates and refill your drinks. Lunch and dinner is definitely better than breakfast, but breakfast isn't bad.

I only come here on Fridays for the seafood buffet. For $27 you get all the snow crab legs you want. They have the other usual buffet items prime rib salmon Chinese food station. The desserts leave a lot to be desired they never have chocolate cake. They do have root beer and orange pop on tap to make floats which I think is kinda cute but they can do better. You come here on Fridays strictly for crab legs.

We came all the way down here from Chicago for the Friday night all you can eat seafood buffet. It was great!! The casino itself has a lot of seedy/sketchy people but the crowd at the buffet is fine. The line was very long and it took us an hour and a half to get in the restaurant. It was well worth the wait. Normally I am not a big fan of buffets but this one was good and very reasonably priced. I think it was $25.00. The seafood was good quality so you get your money's worth. They had chilled shrimp, oysters, crawfish and tons of crab legs both chilled and hot. All of the seafood was very fresh and the crab legs were big and in abundance. People pile the crab legs up on their plates and it's fine. There are mountain sized piles of them for the diners. They also had prime rib, an Asian station, other seafood dishes, chicken dishes, a nice salad bar, and a whole bunch of other things. The desserts were good too. They had a chocolate fountain, creme brulee, ice cream, cakes, pie, etc. This is a great deal and everything is really really good.
